Reviews and Ratings
Staying in the hammocks was incredibly clean and cozy, with kids playing board games all night - super cozy. The local wines and ports, and the friendly staff who arranged a taxi for us prior to arrival, made the service really nice and friendly. The location right at endless vineyards is stunning, perfect for exploring the Douro Valley. Dining had lovely food with many options, but the service was a bit slow at times. Overall, a great experience for those looking to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
My stay at the hotel was an absolute delight! The rooms were simply beautiful and very comfortable, creating an excellent ambiance overall. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive. The location, though a bit far from the reception, was nestled amidst endless vineyards, offering a truly picturesque setting. The dining experience was top-notch with a variety of delicious options to choose from. However, some minor improvements in service and replenishing supplies are needed to make it even more perfect.
Staying at the hotel amidst the vineyards is a must-do experience, especially in one of the wine barrel rooms. The rooms were amazing, offering an excellent ambiance. However, the hotel's dining options could be improved. Service was friendly, although there were some inconsistencies, making the stay overall enjoyable but with room for enhancement.
The hotel was beautifully located with gorgeous surroundings. The rooms were very nicely decorated and very comfortable, providing us with the best night's sleep of our vacation. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, making our stay more enjoyable. The dining experience was good overall, although some improvements could be made. The facilities were comfortable and well-maintained.
Staying at this hotel in the middle of the vineyards is a must-do for at least one night. The rooms, though looking a bit dated with scruffy wallpaper, offer a huge bathroom and a magnificent shower. The service, from the jovial cellar tour guide to housekeeping and restaurant staff, was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. The location, although some distance from the reception, provides a beautiful vineyard estate experience. The dining, with great views over the vineyards, offered excellent food but was a bit slow on coffee service. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay with a few minor hiccups.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were immaculate with a great bed, absolutely amazing. The service was top-notch with all staff being super friendly and helpful. The location was great, just half an hour from the main town in Douro, perfect for exploring the region. The dining experience was just lovely, offering a variety of options. Overall, a fabulous experience with just a few minor opportunities for improvement.
